VCC invites young and old to “Kites and Critters” at a farm in Staunton’s Bells Lane agricultural district on Sunday, April 17, 2016, from 1 to 5 pm. Fly a kite, release a trout, go on a habitat walk, inspect stream insects, visit a beekeeper, pet a lamb, or just enjoy a day at the farm. The barn and barnyard will be packed with activities and displays from local conservation partners.

DIRECTIONS to 272 Bells Lane: Please access Bells Lane from Rt. 262 rather than Commerce Road.  From Rt. 262 (Woodrow Wilson Parkway) turn south on Bells Lane. Travel less than a mile to the top of the hill and turn right into the first driveway. The entrance will be clearly marked.

No pets, please.  Good shoes, water bottles, and sun gear recommended.
