Kites & Critters: What Fun!
We had a great turnout on Sunday, April 17, for Kites & Critters!  Thanks to everyone who came out to the Moore Farm on Bells Lane in Staunton. And thanks to the many volunteers from VCC and the 15 partners who helped put on the activities and displays. Visit the VCC blog for more information about Kites & Critters, and check out the VCC Facebook page for photos of the event.

Botetourt Creek Clean Up
To celebrate Earth Day, VCC’s Botetourt Community Partnership joined with Roanoke Cement Company to clean up and maintain the beautiful Catawba Creek.  For 10 years, RCC has been committed to protecting and cleaning up the part of the creek that is on its property. At the event, BCP volunteers and RCC employees picked up trash in an effort to preserve the natural beauty of the area and its many wildflowers.
