Faye Crawford Cooper Legacy Fund
Faye Crawford Cooper was appointed Executive Director Emerita by the VCC Board of Directors in July 2014 for her exemplary quarter-century of service to VCC as a founding member and as the 2nd and 6th Executive Director. At about the same time as her election, the VCC Board of Directors established this fund in her honor to assist VCC with unrestricted funding for its staffing and program needs. Please contact VCC at email@example.com or 540.886.3541.
VCC Building Fund
VCC purchased its historic 1877 two-story building in downtown Staunton in 2003. To retire its mortgage and to provide much-needed repairs (e.g., installing a new furnace, painting inside and outside, and sanding and repolishing the wood floors), VCC established this fund in 2014 to address the ongoing needs of its official headquarters. VCC stewardship begins in our own home! Please contact VCC at firstname.lastname@example.org or 540.886.3541.

Kroger Community Rewards Program
Kroger Community Rewards Program makes fund-raising easy for the Valley Conservation Council. Just shop at Kroger and swipe your Plus Card – that’s it.
But first you have to register your card in the Community Rewards Program. Here are the simple steps. Note that Kroger has assigned an NPO number to VCC: 80881. Please refer to this number during the registration process.
Register online at krogercommunityrewards.com. Be sure to have your Kroger Plus Card handy and register your card with VCC after you sign up. If you do not have a card, they’re available at the Customer Service Desk at any Kroger.
Click on Sign In/Register. Most participants are new online customers so they must click on SIGN UP TODAY in the “New Customer?” box. Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your e-mail address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions. You will then get a message to check your e-mail inbox and click on the link within the body of the e-mail. Click on My Account and use your e-mail address and password to proceed to the next step.
Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number. Update or confirm your information. By the way, you DO NOT have to enter personal information such as telephone number and birthdate – just leave this information blank. Enter NPO number for the Valley Conservation Council, select the organization, and click on confirm. To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
Remember: Your purchases will not count for the Valley Conservation Council until you register your card. Now head over to your neighborhood Kroger and swipe your card for each purchase to count for conservation. Simple!
