The Valley Conservation Council has been an effective advocate for protecting the Valley’s Civil War battlefields and other cultural resources since the early 1990s. VCC helped pave the way for the creation of the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation almost a decade later and has been an essential partner ever since.
